How It Started
From the very beginning — when Daniel and Wyeth Ahearn handed out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in their neighborhood with Zach Strauss and Isaac Love, building connections with The Berrics to share the vision — PB Sundays was rooted in friendship, purpose, and love.
What started simply has grown into something meaningful: a movement grounded in showing up, caring, and giving back — not because we have to, but because we can.
PB Sundays empowers youth culture to be the change they want to see.
We are deeply grateful to the volunteers who return again and again to make and distribute sandwiches, recruit participants, secure prizes, and believe in this work. None of this happens without you.

Our Values
Neighbor, Not Charity
We don't show up as helpers from outside. We show up as neighbors. The work happens in relationship, not from a distance.
Youth in the Lead
Founded by young people. Run by young people. We trust teens to drive the work, own the direction, and speak for themselves.
Belonging Is For Everyone
Whether someone has a home or not — community is not earned. It belongs to all of us.
