Leadership
Our PB Sundays leadership drives strategic direction, program development, and operational execution. Through collaborative leadership and structured decision-making, they've scaled a pandemic-era mutual aid project into a sustainable nonprofit serving Los Angeles communities. PB Sundays has succeeded due to dedicated volunteers, an innovative and youthful approach, and the belief that the smallest act of kindness can make a difference. PB Sundays would not be where it is today without our Founders who believed in the vision from day one. We would like to thank: Wyeth Ahearn, Isaac Love, Luca and Leo Persechetti, Harry and Isaac Sey, Remi Morrison, Charlie, Isla and Wesley Thomlinson, Marley Best, Natalie Shea, and Lennon Grousbeck
Boards of Directors
The PB Sundays Board of Directors meets regularly, plans events, and ensures that the organization stays true to its mission.

From the very beginning—when Daniel and Wyeth Ahearn handed out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in their neighborhood to Zach Strauss and Isaac Love, building connections with The Berrics to share the vision —PB Sundays was rooted in friendship, purpose, and love. What started simply has grown into something meaningful: a movement grounded in showing up, caring, and giving back—not because we have to, but because we can.
PB Sundays empowers youth culture to be the change they want to see.
We are deeply grateful to the inspiring volunteers who return again and again to make and distribute sandwiches, recruit participants, secure prizes, and believe in this work. None of this happens without you.

Our Model
PBSundays addresses community isolation and homelessness through direct engagement rather than institutional distance. We recognize that meaningful change requires relationships, not just resources.
What We Do
Organize multi-generational volunteers for food preparation
Coordinate with SELAH for strategic distribution reaching LA's 60,000+ unhoused residents
Design community events that bridge housed and unhoused populations
Develop youth leadership capacity through hands-on nonprofit management
Why It Works
Young people lead because street culture is youth culture
Skateparks and basketball courts share space with our unhoused neighbors
This proximity creates authentic understanding that drives sustainable engagement
Mental health initiative for both housed and unhoused community members
Start Your Own Chapter
The PBSundays model is designed for replication. We provide framework, best practices, and ongoing support for communities establishing local chapters.
